A rich Pinot Noir characteristic of a cool climate. Fruit forward yet well structured with top notes of raspberries, cherries and hints of strawberries. Complexity and depth from very gentle oak inuence. Serve slightly chilled, 16-18ºC.
Tenuous straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The aroma is intense with persistent fruity and flowery scents similar to those of golden apples and green almonds as well as a clean aroma of chamomile flower. The flavour is full-bodied and remarkably sapid, balanced, harmonious and persistent.
Intense aromas of violets, blackberry and subtle chocolate herald this mouth staining Durif's inky dark fruit characters of blackberry, anise and smoky liquorice that fill the concentrated palate. The french oak and dense tannins add complexity and depth that persists to long flavoursome finish.
A full bodied red with marked yet gentle tannins and an average level of alcohol which displays hints of ripe fruits such as blackberries and morello cherries as well as spicy notes.
