Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby-red. Mineral-tinged aromas of raspberry, cherry liqueur, garrigue and exotic spices show excellent clarity and take on a minerally nuance as the wine opens up. At once rich and lively in style, offering penetrating red berry, bitter cherry and spice-cake flavors and a touch of candied lavender. Shows superb definition and finishes smooth, spicy and impressively long, leaving behind a bright mineral note.
Tasting Notes:
Bright yellow colour with greenish glints. Intense nose with floral, zesty and citrusy notes. The refined and full-bodied palate combines roundness and vivacity leading to a very long finish
Tasting Notes:
The wine is yellow in colour. An aromatic white of medium body. Round, and well balanced acidity with a long finish.
Elder berry aroma on the nose, cassis leaves, a hint of toffee. The palate is easy and fleshy.
Tasting Notes:
A blend of 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah this wine has all the perfume and fleshy generosity of fully ripe Grenache fruit with freshness and finesse of tannins and that faint hint of Provence herbs that makes southern Rhone reds, and Mont-Redon so special.
Loaded with notes of black olives and black cherries, the full-bodied 2017 Gigondas is rich and velvety in the mouth. I'm not sure it's quite as good as the 2018, but it's certainly no slouch, with a long, silky finish that picks up a hint of cocoa.
