The Generations Sauvignon Blanc is a combination of old world and new world winemaking. The old world brings mellow yeast autolysis and highlights minerality, and the new world brings all the punchy tropical fruit with racy acidity.
This light garnet coloured wine opens with bundles of red fruit, spice and vanilla aromas. On the medium bodied palate, silky tannins and fresh acidity enhance the cranberry and redcurrant fruits. The wine finishes warm, with hints of spicy oak and vanillin.
Immediately expressive in the glass, with notes of bright, ripe citrus, makrut lime, passionfruit and white peach. The palate is vibrant and mouthwatering, with concentrated juicy tropical notes, underpinned by a lively grapefruit acidity, carrying the intense fruit characters through to an impressively long finish.
Tropical notes of passionfruit, grapefruit and blackcurrant combine with salty mineral notes. The palate is rich and weighty and full of flavours of grapefruit and blackcurrant along with green notes of nettle and capsicum. A subtle sea salt character leads to a long lingering mineral finish.
