Fresh berry flavours and a fine white pepper ness add a spicy profile to the nose. This is a wine of elegance and linearity. The palate seems almost seamless with the soft approachable tannins rounding off the mouth feel.
Tasting Notes:
Intense dark colour. The nose shows restraint, with deep underlying aromas of complex blue and blackberries and cedar aromas typical from Jonkershoek. The palate is nervous and fresh followed by fine, dense tannins. This is a wine built to last and early drinking would benefit from decanting.
Tasting Notes:
Concentrated nose of dried herbs and warm spices complimented with dark berries and cassis. Fine powdery tannins with signature varietal grip, yet still smooth and inviting. Long and lingering dark fruit flavours give the wine length and a moreish freshness keeps
you coming back for more.
Tasting Notes:
Deep dark fruits dominate the nose initially with blackberry compote and black plums and dark chocolate. Dark berries follow on to the palate with dried herb, cassis and dark chocolate.
