Tasting note: From a single vineyard in front of the cantina, this is a blend of Bordeaux varieties with 10% Sangiovese, matured in French oak for 10 months. There’s a heady nose of plum, damson, cocoa and wild Tuscan herbs. The palate is glorious and harmonious, with fruit depth and warm oak spice, framed by glossy tannins and sapid, crunchy-berry freshness.
