From a single vineyard in front of the cantina, this is a blend of Bordeaux varieties with 10% Sangiovese, matured in French oak for 10 months. There’s a heady nose of plum, damson, cocoa and wild Tuscan herbs. The palate is glorious and harmonious, with fruit depth and warm oak spice, framed by glossy tannins and sapid, crunchy-berry freshness.

Typical and characteristic, fine and refined, the fruity aromas stand out (above all those of green apple, pear and citrus fruits) and floral aromas reminiscent of spring (wisteria, acacia and lily of the valley in particular).
